A boy named Miguel Velázquez Torres, born in a citadel in the Toscal neighborhood in Tenerife in 1944, discovers by chance his innate talent for boxing in a bar, while making gloves with other young people; a boxer friend of Miguel takes him the next day to the gym where he trains. This is the beginning of the career of one of the best boxers our country has ever produced, champion of Spain, Europe and the World, who starred along Pedro Carrasco in what is still considered the best fight in the history of Spanish boxing today. It is also a story of personal improvement and survival of a generation that is beginning to disappear.
